Mascarpone Whipped Cream

Serves: 3-4 cups
  • Ingredients
  • 1 pint or 2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 4 oz. or ½ cup mascarpone
  • 2-3 Tablespoons powdered sugar
Optional Flavorings 1-2 teaspoons:
  • Vanilla extract
  • Coffee liqueur (Kahlua)
  • Grand Marnier (for pairing with fruit)
  • Amaretto (For an almond flavor)
  1. Depending on the brand of mascarpone, you may need to let your mascarpone sit at room temperature to soften if it seems very thick.
  2. In your mixer with a whip attachment, whip the heavy whipping cream and mascarpone together until the beaters leave a trail.
  3. Add powdered sugar and flavorings.
  4. Take care not to over whip, once soft peaks began to form, turn off mixer. If over whipped, there is no reversing this, so don’t walk away or get distracted during this time.
  5. Use immediately, or store covered in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Yield: 3-4 cups of Mascarpone Whipped Cream. If you need less, you can easily cut the recipe in half or quarter.
