Guess What? I have finally started a food blog. The blog site is up and this is my first post. My goal is that you spend your time having fun in the kitchen and enjoying a home cooked meal with those you love,
Instead of spending your time searching this blog, I have laid out this blog so that you can quickly navigate through it and find what you need. Here are three tips to make your experience at our table enjoyable.
First, my blog has three different pages that sort posts to help you find what you’re looking for:
- The Blog Page – contains all posts sorted in chronological order. Beginning with the most recent post.
- The Recipes Page – divides posts into specific categories, complementing the search feature. This page allows you to find posts based on categories and not only keywords.
- The Table Gossip Page – contains blog posts where I share glimpses of my life story with you as I’m building this blog.
Next, I would like to point out that my blog uses categories to organize posts. One of the category groups that I will be focusing on is food allergies: Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Nut-Free. I will also be using cooking methods as a category group: Stove-Top, Oven, BBQ, Slow Cooker. I will add quick meal categories: 30-minute meals and 1-Pan meals, where you will use only 1 pot to make a meal. The Recipe page uses these categories, allowing you to find posts for food allergies, similar cooking methods, or quick-meal category group. Please share your favorite categories with me, if you don’t see them on the blog.
Most of all, Subscribe. Hate SPAM? Me too! The difference here is that this a chance for me to have a dialog with you as a guest at our table and become part of the mailbag. I will review the mailbag and use it to choose the topics that I cover.
Please know that you are always a welcomed guest at our table!
